Mission Statement
Botanical Advocacy and Education is a nonprofit that has been formed to reenergize
grassroots advocacy and education for the purpose of protecting the right of all Americans to
use natural, unadulterated botanicals for the purposes they choose.
Advocate and Educate
Botanicals are natural plants that have helped improve overall health and well being for
centuries. Our goal is to educate all peoples to the truth about botanicals, from regulators to
potential consumers and everyone in between.
Numerous federal agencies do everything they can to interfere with the right of consumers to
make informed choices about products they use for their health and well being. Their war on
botanicals and natural plants includes but is not limited to, distributing disinformation and
outright falsehoods that greatly mislead agency heads, policy makers, consumers and the
American public in general, as well as enacting bans that prohibit the safe consumption and
use. Our goal is to correct that through advocacy and education.
Protecting Natural Resources
Natural botanicals are a precious resource that are an important and valuable part of our
global ecosystem. We support the advocacy and the education that will encourage continued
sustainable harvesting techniques, including the reforestation and protection of all botanical
growth areas. We must encourage the continued protection of these delicate ecosystems and
forests, which will in turn better protect the climate and the invaluable carbon exchange these
areas provide.
Global Awareness
Botanical detractors are trying to expand bans across the world. Our goal is to demonstrate
that responsible education on consumption and use of botanicals is the answer, not a ban.
Speaking the Truth on Botanicals
We represent millions of Americans that each have a story to tell. Government agencies and
detractors want to drown out the individual voices, but we will raise those voices and together
we will be heard across America and beyond.
